Our Story

Flight Power Repair Group comes from humble beginnings.

In 2011, three business partners, who still make up our executive leadership team today, were operating out of a 1,500 sq. ft. warehouse, selling serviceable aviation assets to support their customers’ material commitments.

After struggling to find reliable MRO partners in the market, they began exploring the idea of acquiring an existing repair organization. But after numerous meetings, negotiations, and evaluations, something didn’t sit right. The vision wasn’t there.

So they made a bold decision.

Instead of inheriting someone else’s way of doing things, they would build it their way, from the ground up.

They leased their first facility, Plant 78, a completely empty 5,000 sq. ft. building, and began the process of obtaining FAA certification.

Starting from zero, Flight Power Repair Group was born.

With ambitious goals and a deep commitment to customer service, demand quickly began to outpace capacity. Faced with the choice to remain small, scale back, or grow, they chose to grow.

In the early days, Flight Power serviced just two engine platforms, JT8D and PW4000.

Today, fifteen years later, Flight Power operates across three facilities in Doral, Florida, totaling more than 100,000 square feet, over 20 times our original footprint.

Our capabilities now support multiple major engine platforms including:

  • CFM International – CFM56-7 | CFM56-5 | CFM56-3 | CFM56-2

  • General Electric – CF6-80C2 | CF34-3

  • Pratt & Whitney – PW4000 94”/100”

  • International Aero Engines – V2500

  • Rolls Royce – RB211

  • General Electric – LM2500 I LM6000

  • Pratt & Whitney – GG4 I GG8

We now hold multiple global certifications including FAA, EASA, CAAC, UK CAA, ISO, AFRA, and ASA100, reflecting our commitment to quality, safety, and international compliance.

Our team has grown to more than 100 professionals dedicated to delivering reliability and excellence to customers around the world.

And while we’ve grown significantly, our mindset has not changed.

From those early days in a small warehouse to today’s multi facility operation, Flight Power remains committed to innovation, expansion, and providing the highest level of support to the customers who trust us.
